It isn’t just about “design”
From transportation and streetscapes to housing and health...everything we do falls under one or more of our Guiding Principles for Civic Design. These Principles stem from goals proposed by the community during our extensive community engagement project, The Plan of Nashville: Avenues to a Great City. By working within an ecosystem of issues, we can ensure more urban development is “Living The Plan.”
We use various methods in our Design Toolkit to create cross-sector connections, engage with locals, create design visions, and finally advocate for solutions to be implemented in our communities.
