The Project
The Civic Design Center is partnering with Inclusion Tennessee to create an initial design for an LGBTQIA+ Community Center in Middle Tennessee. Inclusion Tennessee’s mission is “to connect people, opportunities, and resources to enrich and enhance the multi-faceted lgbtqia+ community.” Building off of Inclusion Tennessee's one-year study of LGBTQIA+ community needs, the Civic Design Center engaged with over 600 community members at Nashville PRIDE on June 25 + 26 to generate conversation and gather feedback on where resources should be prioritized and what features the future community center should have.
This event is part of the community engagement process which will then be used to create the conceptual designs.

Nashville Pride Festival
The Civic Design Center is working with In|TN (Inclusion Tennessee) to build an LGBTQIA+ Community Center in Nashville for all ages with satellite services throughout the region. We need your help to survey the community at the Nashville Pride Festival to see what type of programing the future center should have. Volunteers will be asked to work two-hour shifts on Saturday and/or Sunday and poll community members using tools from the Design Center.
Volunteer Shifts are now full, but please come visit us on the east side of the park across from the World War II Memorial at the Pride Festival and give your feedback!
