In 1993, a group of concerned citizens, homeowners, business owners, residents and developers met to create a framework for the advancement of Jefferson Street. Their vision led to the development of a non-profit organization, Jefferson Street United Merchant Partners (J.U.M.P.) in 1996, committed to developing, fostering, and promoting cooperative economic development through advocacy, revitalization, acquisition, education and public safety programs in North Nashville.

J.U.M.P. is a partner of ours for projects specifically affecting Jefferson Street and the greater North Nashville area. We have formed a coalition with local property owners in an effort to support community revitalization on Jefferson Street together.

Our former Board President, Tifinie Capehart, is the current Board Chair of J.U.M.P.
