Pledging a monthly donation is the best way you can sustain our visionary and advocacy work!

*One time gifts of $60+ will be recognized as members for one year from donation date. You must change the “monthly” setting to “one-time” above in order to do this. However, monthly members receive an email receipt each month so you never forget that you are a member and to provide you with everything you need for your taxes. You can check your membership status by emailing veronica at civicdesigncenter dot org.

The Civic Design Center encourages me to get engaged with the community because the projects and ideas are aligned with how I would like to see our city evolve and prosper.

Frequently Asked Questions

I used to have a login for my membership. How do I access my account?

In 2020, we changed our giving platform to GiveLively, which only offers recurring monthly donations or “one-time” donations. Members do not have a login to access their giving history anymore, however, all sustaining members receive monthly email receipts for tracking tax-deductible donations. At the end of each year, we send a full giving report to our members.

I’m not sure if my membership is active. How can I check?

You can view our full member list here. It is manually updated each Monday morning. If your name if not on that list, you can reach out to veronica at civicdesigncenter dot org to confirm your membership.

I’d like to make a one-time donation, does that include membership?

One-time donations of $60 and above that are made directly on our website go towards one year of membership. However, we highly encourage sustaining monthly donations. During financial recessions and fluctuations, it is better for an organization to know that monthly funding is something we can depend on to continue projects that support our mission. If you choose to make a one-time donation, we recommend that you set up a calendar notification to renew your membership the following year including this link.

My company is a sponsor of the Civic Design Center, do I receive member benefits?

Unfortunately, sponsorship event benefits are limited to the Sponsor Reception and Young Professional events. You must be an individual member by name in order to receive membership benefits, like tickets to monthly Urban Design Forums.

My credit card is expired or declined. How can I manage my donation?

If you credit card fails, you will receive an email and your recurring donation will be automatically cancelled. Your membership is on hold until you begin a new recurring donation. You can do this by filling out the same form above with a new credit card. Your new donation will be connected to your profile in our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, so your giving history is still accessible for the whole year.

My financial situation has changed. How can I manage my donation amount or cancel my monthly donation?

While we used to have a system where you could adjust your donation amount yourself if you set up a login, that is no longer the case. Please email veronica at civicdesigncenter.org to adjust your monthly donation amount or cancel recurring donations. We can complete this process in 1-2 business days. Please see our member cancellation policy below for more information.

Membership Cancellation Policy

We are always grateful to receive sustaining financial support from our members, but if you are unable to continue your monthly donation, we completely understand! Refunding a donation charges us a fee that takes away from the work towards our mission. Please formally cancel your membership by emailing Veronica at civicdesigncenter.org so we may cancel a subscription before you are charged next.
