Reflecting on Design Accomplishments at Annual Luncheon

Discounted for Members

Our annual fundraiser brings over 800 people together to showcase a keynote speaker who highlights a specific civic design theme. The event has led to millions of dollars of company sponsorships that support the Civic Design Center’s daily efforts.

As a 501(c)3 nonprofit, the Civic Design Center receives a majority of its funding from grants, sponsorships, and grassroots fundraising. Through major fundraising events, like our Annual Luncheon, we bring civic design thought leaders to the forefront in order to spur conversations that could lead to improving quality of life for all. Past event speakers include Emilio Cabrero, Mike Lydon, Majora Carter, Paul Goldberger, Daniel Hernandez, Alex Krieger, and Janette Sadik-Khan.

Sponsors receive significant recognition at our annual fundraiser. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we hosted a “virtual luncheon” under the theme Community-Led Change featuring two keynote speakers, Kristen Jeffers, and Sekou Cooke, along with 32 other local and national advocates.
