Metro Parks is undertaking a planning effort for a new park on a 25-acre riverfront site at the foot of the Sillimans Evans (I-40) Bridge, adjacent to Rolling Mill Hill and Napier Sudekum.

Join Parks for the first public meetings of this process to learn about the site and share your ideas about the future needs, access, uses, and experiences.

The idea for this park was called out in the Plan Of Nashville, Avenues To A great City. It was also explored in a UTK College of Architecture + Design: Nashville Urban Design Studio through a publication entitled Nashville's Boathouse: Connecting Community to the Cumberland: see some of the student’s renderings below.
