Join the Civic Design Center in partnership with CONVERGE and The Packing Plant to explore Wedgewood-Houston in a display of pop-up creative placemaking installations at the WeHo Art Crawl!

The #intersectionintervention is part of an engagement process that has involved neighbors in Wedgewood-Houston dating back to the Civic Design Center’s 2018 Annual Luncheon featuring Mike Lydon, co-author of Tactical Urbanism. The Tactical URBanism Organizers (TURBO) have continued conversations with community members to create placemaking installations that will strengthen the identity of the artisan & maker community that exists here.

Visit the intersection intervention and the Grassroots Art Park during the WeHo Art Crawl and celebrate public space with us! The Grassroots Art Park is a sculpture garden that will showcase a variety of 3D artists including Golden Cone 2019 Winners, Hastings Architecture’s, Parklet Portal Columns. There will be live performance art and music from 4 - 7 pm in the Art Park, you won’t want to miss it.
