The purpose of the Golden Cone Awards is to celebrate the hard work of PARK(ing) Day participants for their temporary installations in Public Space. Daniel A. Biederman is an American urban redevelopment expert and public space management, consultant. Biederman has been cited for his success in using private funding to revitalize urban public spaces and parks and is helping with the activation of Church Street Park! He will be joining the first half of this virtual event to discuss his work in enhancing public spaces.
